The MSc programme covers a range of advanced technical topics appropriate for the modern engineer. This includes mathematical modelling, computer aided analysis and visualisation, system dynamics and intelligent systems. With a focus on sustainability and 3D design and simulation, students are also develop an in-depth appreciation of ethical technical and business practices within modern organisations.
The MSc is typically taught 2 days per week. Applicants with a first degree will normally be expected to have attained honours of at least class 2:2 (or its equivalent) in a relevant engineering or associated technical discipline. Candidates without an honours degree, but who can demonstrate an appropriate level of relevant learning and achievement will also be considered.
